I picked up a sirius system from someone, that uses a kenwood FM modulator deal. Everything is self explainatory in the install except for three wires. These three wires come from the Kenwood FM modulator box deal and hook up somewhere into the radio wire harness. They are labeled as power inputs, and are three colors.. blak, yellow, and red. Does anyone know what wires these splice into? Truck is 02 f350. Thanks.
Is this the stock head unit?? The black is for the ground, yellow for constant on (battery), and the red for switched power input. You should be able to find the right factory wires by using a test light... or I can check how mine's wired and get back to you... I don't have the factory colors memorized.... yet
If you had an aftermarket HU, the correct wires should be easy to identify.

Ok I got the Chilton's book on the truck, so I know the colors and what each wire is for coming from thee back of the radio... but...
...When you say "switched power input" what do you mean? There are several power wires going into the radio, a ground, a constant hot, a hot when the key is on, and also one for illumination. What do yall think?
