Anyone know of someplace to purchase OEM replacement upholstery for an '88 F-250, XLT Lariat?
It's got the standard Lariat bench seat with the armrest. I'd like to purchase just the cover(s), hog rings and pliers and do it myself. A local upholstery shop quoted $600 for the front seat only, and $750 if they used OEM material and if they could obtain it. Since Ford sold so many of these trucks, somebody has to make some OEM replacement fabric or covers.
I'd hoped to get some material to replace the material on the door panels and cover the extended cab jump seat also, but at $750 for just the front that's out of the question.
I don't know about 97, but LMC does both original & non-original recover kits for 80 - 96, in various fabrics/colors. I think National Parts also do - probably others as well.
