Help! EEC-IV removal/swap help
Hi guys, I have a question I need fast help with. My neighbor wants to buy a 300 of mine from an '85 F-150 and put it into his 81 F-150. The question is can we remove the EEC-iv controls from the 85 engines carb to work with his Duraspark II system? His truck had a 302 in it but I threw a Duraspark distributor and module for the 300 in on the sale so that wont be a problem, but I dont have a carb for him. Can any body help me on this. I told him not to pull the 302 until we were ready to do the change but he pulled it anyway and that truck is his only transportation.
