I was wondering what I would need to buy to be able to check for codes on my EEEC 4?? Have heard of these, but wondered what they were actually called. And a list of the codes and their meanings I suppose too.
Have stock '96 F-150, 5.0/auto,3.55 rears. Was wondering what mods to increase low to midrange?? Not interested in rpm's or low gears..!!!
I've seen some performance companies that offer things for '92-'95, is my '96 a "wierd" year?? All I can figure is that maybe it is because I have mass air(pretty sure) and the others do not?? Thank y'all in advance.
Forgot to mention that I did put a converter back dual exhaust system on, using 1 Flowmaster 1 inlet/2 outlet type muffler,2.5" pipes coming out.Wondered if some low end went away, but it sounds cool so is ok!!
Youll need an OBD II Code Scanner . One of the ads here on FTE advertises a scanner called Auto Tap . Its reasonably priced for a basic OBD II Scanner . Check out their ad .
