Rear leaf springs

Any ideas out there on how to remove the leaf spring shackle bolts without trashing the bushings?

A 4" zip-cut disk with a angle grinder works well. But you will need new bolts.

Or some good penitrating oil, but if they are like mine penitrating oil is not an option.

Hope is helps!

When I did mine, I hack sawed between the spring and shackle. Alot faster and easier than fighting to get them loose. Chance are you'll need new bolts anyways.

I've had good luck using a big air wrench. Tap on the back side lightly and turn away.

also if youheat the metal up with a propane tourch it can help, but an air grinder is the best.
