E4OD going out?
At the speeds of about 35-50 as a site described my truck is rumbling. Is this the sign of the torque converter going out? My truck is also banging when it shifts from 2nd-3rd like others said. Is this the sign of a rebuild being required. If it is I was looking around on ebay and found a rebuild/torque converter. I have about 165k miles on my truck.
Found a new heavy duty converter on ebay for $325. Rebuild kit for $165. A shift kit for $50. Will this correct my problems? Also how long of a proccess am I looking at this taking? Could I do it over a weekend?
