I was out off roading and when i got out i noticed i was leaking fluid from the rear end. Come to find out, the pumpkin had a hole in it like some gearing broke right through it. The truck is still moving perfectly, the only problem is this hole in the rear housing of the pumpkin. When i take the rear cover off what kind of damage should i look for or expect? Not certain on what or why this happened. Any advice???
I've seen pieces of limited slip clutch blow out the cover, also pieces of gears.
Hopefully when you get the cover off you don't find anything toooo serious
thanks for the advice, im hoping thats it, if its the limited slip ill just replace it all with positive...the truck still goes along so im thinking that could be it....
