Brake Hydraulic problem
I own a 99 Ranger 3L Flex 4X4. One day a few months ago I was flying down the highway around 100mph when i topped a hill and found a stopped truck in the middle of the road, I jammed on the brakes and it was like i had nothing, i slowed down a little, but not enough to stop, so I had to swerve into the ditch and fly back out. This concerned me, and days afterwards I began to notice less and less pressure. I checked the brakes myself and found nothing, so I bled the lines, still found no bubbles. I finally broke down and took it into a shop. The first time they told me there was nothing wrong with the brakes and they just adjusted the rear's a little and cleaned them. The problem persisted, so I took it back in. This time they finally noticed my problem(how convienient) and thought that maybe there was air in the line, so they flushed the whole system and put in new fluid. After I left, the brakes worked for about 2 days. Now I have no pressure it feels like in the pedal, the resevior is full and I can't find signs of leaking anywhere, I have no idea what it could be. I'm wondering if maybe there is a leak in the seal in the master cylinder? Any help would be great! Thanks.
