lift install
My brother has a 96 f150 2 wheel drive. He just bought a used 6 inch procomp lift and 3 inch body which we are installin next weekend. Were not to worried about the install of the suspension but the body lift is intimidating. is it worth my time to try and install the body lift ourselves, and how hard is it? or should we pay some company to do it? How much would that be? any suggestions or comments would be helpful, thanks!

I would just install the susp lift and forget about the body lift. To me the thought of a body lift is just a half *** type of lift, and even with the 6" thats plenty high, especially from stock height (and you can fit 35's).

I know everyone says stay away from body lifts but i got an 88 f-150 4x4 with a 6" skyjacker suspension lift and a 3" trailmaster body lift and i like it the right combo of body lift and gap guards works fine
