Unfortunately, since I have an '87 model 351w that is carbureted, there is no computer to handle the air injection or EGR system It all happens by vacuum signals that are intermingled with everything else on the engine. Keeps things interesting, trying to rework that tangled mess into a fully functional engine.
At the moment it appears to be running fairly well, with everything capped off. When the new cat assembly arrives, the real fun begins.
I talked to a guy @ National Cylinderhead, wanting to know which head would be the best choice, and he said I should probably leave the stock heads alone, just add roller rockers. Since anything more would kill my torque and towing power at low speeds. One more issue resolved! The guy down the street has shorty headers I think he wants to sell... too bad he doesn't have any pedestal mount roller rockers. I am going to get pics on here soon.
