brake problems

I have a 77 e-250 that the brakes have stopped working on. the pedal travels all the way to the floor and the brakes dont work at all. I tried to drain the brake fluid but could only get fluid out of the rear brakes. when i took the master cylinder off and tried to take out the pistons. the first one comes out fine but i cant get the second one out it seems to be stuck, are their any tricks to this? The master cylinder had a bunch of muck in it so id assume its all plugged up and the brake lines are also probably plugged. im thinking since the primary piston is stuck that the pedal was able to travel all the way down without doing anything. does that sound correct?

Put it back together and get a remanufactured master cylinder, it most likely will need honing, you can't do the needed machining without having more in it then buying another and it may be worthless for building.

I second Maples, reman master cylinders are cheap and easy - that's the route I'd recommend.
