Hello to all Ford lovers
I just joined the site and am trying to learn just how everything works. I have always had at least one Ford in my garage. I just prchased a 2003 F-250 XLT S/C 4X4 with a 5.4 auto. In the past I have owned about a dozen ford pickups, everything from 351's to diesels to V-10's. I just sold my 1998 Expedition and hauled it on a car trailer 300 miles to it's new owner using the 2003 5.4 liter. I was really impressed with the way it pulled the load. I don't think any of the diesels I owned would have done much better. It burned a lot of fuel but no more that my old V-10 would have done. I am really impressed with the 5.4 liter. I think with a little aftermarket add-ons it will be a real performer. I'm hoping this site and the people who use it will be able to help me find the answers I seek.
