removing valve covers!?

removing valve covers!?
does ford really have to make it that hard to remove your valve covers? 
i cannot remove the a.i.r. injection tubes from the exhuast manifold to remove them, also, there are tons of vacuum and emissions hoses and i cannot get ANY of them removed, the "stock" clamps are basically unremovable, and the hoses are STUCK on there!!! does anybody have any ideas on how to get any of these things off? i've tried penetrating lube, and all that other stuff that i think would help, but all i do is round off the bolts. all i want to do is adjust the rocker arms!!! uggh...
