Does anyone have the two piece Ram Air Scoop installed with their Volant intake?I cannot get mine to align no matter which way I try it.I am just wondering if anyone has a successful install?I am thinking this $129 piece of aftermarket has never been tried on an 04 F150 5.4 3V.The air intake seems fine and I like the sound when giving it some right foot.However, I sure am leary about this scoop ever aligning unless I become creative on my own.It certainly was not worth the $129.If anyone has experience with this, please respond back.Thanks!

 

I see you have no responses yet.... keep us posted anyway. I have the 4.6L engine along with the regular volant kit installed. I am waiting for the ram scoop to come out for my size engine.

How much did power improve with the Volant? I have a 2005 F150 4.6L also and want pick up the best intake for this vehicle.

 

Did you contact Volant? I have heard they are very helpfull.

When i did my research on air intakes, the volant tech guys were really helpfuland friendly. I bought it and love it!

I am really looking forward to seeing the ram intake though....
