Gman, consider getting the dropped hangers for the rear. That might get the drop you're looking for w/o taking any springs out. Plus they are a lot easier to work with than the original "Y" hangers.

'fenders, you are on the money as usual, I couldn't have said it better. Actually, I didn't, but you are correct anyway. I neglected to mention the reversed eye thing too. FEI, I took my rear springs to a "reputable" spring place and they were actually going to try to re-roll the spring eyes the other way. Glad I caught that up front. Took them to another "reputable" place and had it done correctly. A worthwhile mod.
