Trailer Harness

I searched and couldn't find the answer to my question. I am having trouble with the wiring on the truck end for a trailer setup. I cant get the passenger turn signal to work on a 2000 PSD. I have had problem in the past with there being a blown fuse (one of the 7.5A)...I've replaced it several times now. Now both of the fuses are good, yet the turn signal still won't function properly.

Any Ideas?

Thanks.

Is the problem with the truck light or the trailer light? If its the trailer light its mostlikely and bad connection in the plug on the truck. You can remove it from the truck and make sure there are no coroded wires and no loose connections. I had the same problem on my 99. Hope this helps!

The problem is with the harness (I assume) that supplies all power to the trailer. No matter what trailer I hook up, the passenger turn signal (on the trailer) will not work. The turn signal on the truck works perfectly.
I checked all of the trailer lights.

I would pull the plug on the truck apart than. There is little screws that hold the wires on the teminals. I'm sure you'll find the problem in there!

I just listed all of the fuses and relays concerning the trailer in another thread about trailer lighting just below your's......at least you'll see what goes where. If it's blowing fuses....something's shorted.
