Practical air compressor maintenance?

I just wanted some advice/experience of others with their compressors. Thanks. I got to use mine today for its first real job. I swaped out my rear shocks, and backed off the bolts using my 3/8 impact. That was a lot easier than using the ratchet. I did both shocks and still had 130PSI in the tank when done, guess the little 3/8 is easy on air. I made sure I oiled my impact and blew down the tank a little to get the condensate out. I have decided to leave it charged between uses.
