I have an 84'f-150 with a standard cab with a short box, that has daul gas tanks on the driver's side.
I was wondering if I could go with a flareside box ,does anything line up ?
I know the rear lights are different, but is the frame the same.
I'm all so redoing the motor and trans.

Would apprechiate any info "thanks"
I would think that this would be a straight swap with the exception of shortening the filler hoses on your tanks. But....I'm interested in what type of shape your short bed is in. Mine has the typical Ford wheel well cancer and my tailgate is dinged up, so I'm looking for something that is pretty good shape that will take a minimum of body work/prep before painting.
Hmm, get a FlareSide box complete with taillight wiring back to the connector that connects it to the chassis wiring harness. It should bolt on, only problem I can think of is finding a box setup for dual tanks, I have seen two, and it looks to me like the Duallies use the same fenders, but I'm not sure.
