Recently I wiped a lobe on my cam.
I bought a mild comp cam 252H-10
.468/.468 gross valve lift
110 lobe sep
206/206 duration @.050
i figured since i was putting a new cam in i would switch to a 4bb
I am wanting to put a cheap 4bb intake since i am a college student i really cant afford an aftermarket. I'm goin with a 600 cfm holley double pumper.
Does anyone round Iowa have a 4bbl intake for a 390 they would be willing to part with? I live in ames now.
I've got a couple, just not sure how to get it to you, the shipping will hurt, they are cast iron. If you don't mind a couple hour road trip, I can get it up to the Marengo area.
I have one, but I'm near Cedar Falls, Iowa. It's nice and clean too, been hot tanked and glass bead blasted. I also have a Streetmaster 390 if you're interested.
You might want to consider a bigger cam. I'm running a Crane 343941 in mine, and it works great.
Not to sound like a salesman or anything, but I also have a couple sets of D2TE-AA heads laying around, I could port a set for you if you're interested. Having the intake off, that would be the time.
