Code 31 & 44
My 90 F-150 got the exact same errors.
KOER pulled:
44 Thermactor Air System Failure
31 EGR Valve position or exhaust pressure transducer voltage low
Check your vacuum lines. I fixed my 44 error by replacing the vacuum lines that ran on the passenger side of the engine. It seems they got too close to the exhaust manifold and melted through. I still have the 31 error, but i'll see what happens after i replace the EVP Sensor today.
