Need Help
I have a 2004 6.0 with 20K Miles. For the last 15K the I have experienced intermittent surging at idle, bucking @ around 1500 RPM accompanied by puffs of smoke like it is clearing itself. Lets say you stop at a light, the motor starts to surge then when you step on the gas the truck goes nowhere and after about 2 or 3 surges it blows a large quantity of smoke out the tailpipe then takes off. the same is true at a constant rpm it bucks 2 or 3 times puffs and continues on. I had it at the dealer twice the first time they couldn't simulate the problem the said, the second time 2 Days they changed the ICP and I took home and it happened again. Anyone have any suggestions.........
