I am not a Hot Roder,But I do use all the power I can get when pulling step hill with my 5th wheel.
I have a 77 F250 with a 351 It has a 4 speed manual tranny with FlowMaster
exhaust and a GeerVinder Over drive. This motor only has 12,000 miles
My question is about keeping this truck well tuned. For MY needs what type of plug wires and plugs would best fit my needs.I have been useing Autolite plugs.
Thanks Don
I've been using Autolites and they work fine. Taylor spark plug wires have held up for me as well. How do you like the Over/Under drive?? Looking at putting one on the Crew Cab in the future.
I use Autolite in mine, theres no real reason to buy expensive plugs with those multiple electrodes, it just helps reduce misfires by giving additional paths to ground, not give you a better spark.

The only regret I have in buying this unit is I waited to long in my decision on buying one. At that price you want too be sure that this fits your needs. For what my needs are it is great. It has taken a lot of strain off my engine. For me it has NOT made pulling hills faster,But it has made them easer. The saveings gas mileage is great.I highly recamend one if it is in Your needs. When they installed mine the price included heave duty drive shaft and u joints. In the learning prosses I have down shifted at 65mph and barked the backtires and with it heavy duty didn't hurt a thing. What they told my is you can't break it. If it breake they fix for nothing.
Call them they are great
