Question 5W-20 availability

Three years ago, when my truck was new and 5W-20 oil was scarce, I began using Motorcraft brand that was available from Wallmart for $1.50/Qt.
My local Wallmart recently stopped carrying Motorcraft brand, Advance Auto Parts sells the stuff for $2.00/Qt and the local dealer wants $3.00/Qt.
Question: Has Wallmart stopped carrying this brand nationwide or just where I live.

Walmart

They stopped where I live but still have the oil filters, I can get the oil at Autozone, and was able to buy Motorcraft Mercon for 1.98 a quart and was happy about that.

It's a nation-wide thing. Do a search down in the oil & lube forum for speculation as to why Wal-Mart no longer carries Motorcraft stuff.

I got some 5w-20 semi-syn at wal-mart here in south eastern Wi. a couple of weeks ago for $1.58 qt. Unfortunately my truck won't be in until late May.
