Power Door Lock Problem
Hi guys, I just found a little problem, that I would like suggestions on, I installed a keyless entry system on my truck about a month and a half ago. Anyways, just lately the drivers door lock won't go down or up if either button is pressed. If I play with it, and push it down while pressing the door lock button, it will work for just a little while, and then do it again. I'm thinking there is a short somewhere or the motor is going out., The passenger side works absolutely fine,
so, has anyone replaced this? Is it a easy job? Directions? Any help?

Power Door Lock Problem
Those motors are riveted to the door like the power window motors . They seem to last a long time so maybe recheck all the wiring connections . Its possible the lock motor is dirty or the linkage is binding ?

Paul, thanks for the reply. Dirty? Do you mean the connection's into the motor? Binding? How would I find this out? It doesn't even make a sound at all. It act's like it's not getting any power. That's why I figure there's a short somewhere.
