How slow is your connection? I have dial up and it is pretty slow, one of the problems of living away from a major centre. Otherwise it is great living out of town.

I have dial-up. You can get high-speed in town but I'm to far out to get it.

You have my symathy, sometimes mine is so slow that I think it died, but it is cheap on Sear`s connect. Almost half the rate of Sask Tel. High speed is coming if you are with in 30 kms of the tower but it will be about $43 or so a month.

I was talking to Sasktel last week and the cell tower at Aberdeen is scheduled to go into service for high speed wireless in the 2nd quarter of '05 and the one in Bruno is 4th quarter '05. Range is 30 km from tower and the price will be $59.95/month and a $249 equipment purchase is required to make the connection. They say its faster than regular high speed.

That works out to $820 yearly plus the $259, Sears is costing $259 yearly. Hi-speed would be so great but in the summer my usage will be limited so for now I will stay with the dial up. I doubt that there is a seasonal plan.
