Lord knows we give them hell when they make things tough on us. I just wanted to put in a good word for Metro Ford in Massachusetts. My EGR valve went last week. Ford towed my truck, replaced the valve, and gave me my truck back timely. Didn't charge me one red cent. Keep in mind, my truck is fairly modified, and they probably could have complained or made me uncomfortable. Go Blue!
Great, good to hear positive feedback. I too have always been treated excellent from the dealers I use. I am very picky about service. I will pay alittle more for excellent service. Good luck.
Ford dealers around here are great too!!!! I have gone to a couple dealerships and they try to work in my favor in getting updates, etc. There is a dealership right next to me that will honor warranties even if you are highly modified (chipped, lifted, etc)....it's nice to have! It is understandable if they do deny work though, why should Ford absorb the cost of all of us modding the crap out of our trucks and breaking them? - everyone would be chipped!! Now if my truck would only break, I could take advantage!!!!
Stock is not in my blood. If I could not modify a truck I would never buy it. Good to see people post with a great service department. My service tech knows I cannot leave things alone as well I understand if I break something who pays.
In 1977 I bought my first 4-Wheel drive truck from GM. Drove it 100 miles before I ditched the 350 engine and transmission with a 454 and 400 transmission. GM should have built them right the first time and soon offered that combination in later years. I would have to say I voided the warranty.....

I had a great service experience 500 miles from home at Bobby Jones Ford in Augusta, GA a couple of weeks back when I lost a turbo. They offered to take us anywhere we wanted to go while the truck was being fixed and tried to make us as comfortable as possible. Really good folks to deal with. I wish I could say the same about my local dealer, Bayview Ford in Daphne, AL. Tuesday my truck lost 2 more of the old C94 injectors and would barely run. The wrecker driver got in my King Ranch F250 with the greasiest gloves I've ever seen a human put his hands in. Grease all over the door panel, seat and steering wheel. Arrrrrgh! I went and picked up the truck this afternoon and found a 3 inch gouge in the paint near the door handle. They had also stood on the front bumper to work on it and scratched it all to heck. I called the General Manager and let him know How pleased I was. He was to return my call in 20 minutes. Never did. I think I'll go visit with him tommorrow. It's really sickening to put up with this kind of nonsense when there are so many good dealers out there. You just have to find them!
WE always get great service from Northside Ford in San Antonio, they have a great new place too. They're located in an old Super Kmart! Ask for Robert, Service Mgr.
Also Red McComds Ford in San Antonio has great service, just ask for the shop foreman, Jimmy. He will take care of you.
We also purchase our vehicles from the Fleet Depts. at both dealerships, even though we have a FordDirect Fleet Account. Cause both dealerships do such a great Job on our purchases. See Skip at Northside or Ruben at RM Ford Fleet Departments and get a great deal, like we do!
In Schenectady NY there is a Metro Ford as well. They have great service and are open til midnight. They also will service modified trucks. Further more they offered to install my MBRP exhaust but I did it myself. The only problem I ever encountered was from the quick lube techs. They are careless. But they have always corrected any problems they caused.

I wish I could say the same, but that is not the case. I found this thread while Googling Northside Ford for contacts to direct copies of my letter to Ford Motor Company to, regarding unacceptable service at Northside Ford in San Antonio, Texas.
Sadly, this is our first bad experience at Northside Ford but it's a doozy and is enough to keep us and our family members from taking our Fords back there.
Well it seems like we always have one in the crowd..... sorry to hear about your problem EscapeHybridGal, but at least you found the best place on the internet for information.....Welcome to FTE
I never liked any of the dealerships in my area until I found Pearson Ford just this past tuesday. All I did was have the 30K transmission service done but they were VERY nice and got me in and out. By the way they mentioned they don't care what I put on my truck they won't tell. Other than that Colley Ford in Glendora, CA is plain outstanding.

I live within 1mile of metro ford raynham, Masachusetts and own 8 ford vehicles the truck being the only diesel. Maybe on a minor egr repair you had good luck but honestly give it another chance they won't let me down. Ever wonder why you see someone new behind the service counter regularly and their old diesel tech is now a tool salesman. Did you purchase from metro and if so that may be why but service departments should not discriminate from one customer to the next
