Do Rebates Ever Go Lower?
Hello, I have a F-350 on order with a build date of May 2nd. I noticed the rebates just increased to $3000.00 in my area and there listed to be good through June 30th. I was wondering has Ford ever lowered the rebates before the listed expiration date? Thanks

It doesn't happen often, but yes it can happen. Please, just don't ask me to predict WHEN this will happen. It's like trying to predict the weather 3 months from now, on a particular day at a particular time. I get this question ("...does anyone know what the rebates will be on July 1st, when the current ones expire June 30th?...") more than any other, then they get upset when I can't answer them.

The only time I've seen that happen is when the individual rebate programs get suspended in lieu of a different national program- we had that happen once in the early 90's, but it's extremely rare. Also, in the late 80's when we had rocketing interest rates, some cheap rate programs were cancelled early. Again, also very rare (and I'm really showing my age.
