Question Is $12,500 a good deal for a 2000 F250 SD 4X4

My Boss is wanting to sell me his 2000 F-250 SD for $12,600 . It is a 4X4,shortbed with tow package, alloy wheels and XLT trim package and trailer tow package. It also has a grille guard and tube steps but they will go fairly quick if I buy it.It has a 5.4 with 90,000 on it. It is a 2 owner and I know both the owners .It has been fairly well maintained and I will only haul a 16' utility trailer with 3 quads on it ( about 2,000lbs) a couple times a month so it wouldn't be worked too hard.It gets an average of 11mpg loaded or unloaded mostly due to the motor being chipped (Diablo brand I believe) and this I verified after a short haul this weekend hauling my trailer.Checking the free sites like Edmunds has shown this truck to be worth about $13,100 to 15,500(NADA) so it seems like a good deal but is it really? Thanks

Sounds like a good deal to me. You know both owners and its been maintained well. Your boss is trying to sell it too you. A good sign. Can you drive this truck for a few hrs. That should be part off the deal. That would either make it or break it for me. Good Luck.

Seems close to what the truck is probably worth. Grab the bull by the horns on this one.
