Gauges

Well I got the whole deal on the pyrometer.But whats the deal with the turbo boost bauge.Where does it hookup,and how difficult is it to install?Thanks in advance.

Trying to remember when I had mine put in, I thought the guy said they hooked it into one of the vacuum lines...?

On my 2004 and X-Monitor. It "T's" in to the map sensor. Passanger side rear of motor ther is I beleive 3 screws the hold a plate under the plate is the map sensor.

Boost Gauge

I've Found That On Some Gauges You Can Hook In Between The Manifold And Map Sensor Located On The Passenger Side Upper Part Of The Eng. Compartment. There's A Line That Runs Between The Two That You Can Splice Into. My Gauge Is An Spa Technique Digital And It;s Mounted To The Intake Elbow. Drilled And Tapped To Fit 1/8npt... The Boost Gauges Is A Way Of Monitoring Your Cylinder Pressures. I Hear Most Guys Running A Max Of About 30-34 Lbs. Of Boost,, But I'm Sure This Can Vary Depending On What Mods You've Done To The Truck. Hope This Helps.......mark
