Do You Have Ford Nerf Bars?

does ayone have the ford nerf bars any reason not to get a pair of them. i'm talking about the oval chrome ones. not the straight ones with the long black plastic strip, like a running bar. just wanted to know what the thought was on the people that have them, thanks

I have a set of the ovals. Pretty good step bars and all, but if I had to do it over again I would buy some other brand. I paid a little over $500.00 for mine. And I know that other companies sell cheaper ones that are almost identical. Unless you just like the oem brand, give the other comapnies a look.

I'm using Willmore (304 stainless) round nerf rails for my XLT 4x2.

They also make a wheel to wheel version that may allow you to reach in the foward bed easier.

Love them!

They look great, have nice wide steps, and the pattern matches the rear bumper.

i ordered some black powdercoated nerfbars from t-rex motorsport should be here in 2-3 days at 155 with free shipping price seemed real good can't wait to get them and put them on and see how they look . if you want chrome they have some all stainless that are only 289.00 anda set that is a little cheaper than that and u get free shipping so that would save u about 250 bucks for other mods over buying ford nerfbars

Somehow my truck came with factory nerf bars that were black powder coated. They have the Ford emblem embeded in the areas by each door. These are not the flat running boards which I thought I'd be getting since my truck was bought sight unseen as a dealer trade. I have yet to see another truck with these on the road here in Wisconsin.

I do see the chromies quite a bit and they look very sharp in my opinion. Anyone else get the rounded black bars from the factory? It is listed on my window sticker so I know the dealer would not have junked the factory ones for aftermarket.

i priced the ford ovals they wanted $411 i think it was. they look very nice though. but they are chromed aluminum. i am thinking of getting the nasta stainless steel ones with all stainless bolts and brackets. does any one have these its hard to see exactly how they sit on the truck from looking at the image on the website, thanks.
how will the chromed aluminum hold up?

I bought the black bars (they have a larger size than the chrome) from the dealership at the time of purchase. instaled them myself. paid 300 bucks. with a black truck they look great. I'm not much of a chrome guy. haven't seen too many.
