2004 Ford Explorer in Dash 6 Disc changer---Time Issue.

I was wondering if anyone had problems with their in dash six disc changer keeping the proper time.

I have noticed that it doesn't keep the time properly!?? it alwasy seems to get slow!!

I have seen this before. Some factory radio clocks will lose a few minutes after being set then seem to hold the time. Try setting the clock 2 mintes fast and see what happens over the course of 2-3 weeks.

I tried that too, but I ended up replacing the whole unit with an aftermarket pioneer head unit......I kinda miss the steering wheel controls but hey......better tunes, besides the Pioneer comes with a remote
