Alaska Chapter Website Now Open!
Hello Chapter,
Just wanted to let you know the Chapter Website is now open! You can stop by and check it out at the URL below.
http://akftechapter.angelcities.com
There is a public section with information about our state, a calendar of upcoming events, and a gallery of our pics and photos (when we get some!).
There is also a password-protected Members Only section which is only accessible by members of our Chapter (the password is being emailed to Chapter members) which has information for our members.
Stop by and let me know what you think!

Hi Crumm,
Yeah Angelcities does have a popup problem if it's the free version of the site. I have my homepage on Angelcities also but I pay for the ad-free upgraded version and don't have that problem.
As for pop-up blockers you can get them for free if you get a Yahoo toolbar or Google toolbar and they do a decent job usually. You can also use Firefox as your browser and it works pretty good, but our website (and some others) will look a bit funny from time to time.
I don't know of any foolproof way to get rid of pop-ups...like spam, I'm afraid they are here to stay and it's something we will have to learn to live with.

ya..just went to the website and wondered what the password was...
BTW... free sites like the one hosting the alaska website is fine for personal projects, but it never instills much confidence when using it for a business or profession, especially when those popups keep coming up. I personally hate dealing with all those ads that those sites flood you with. Ive setup many websites and it can cost very little if done properly. If you want some help let me know.
This is my current site that I run for a gaming community called Tactical Ops.
