Engine swap question

Hello i have a 67 F100 i am rebuilding from frame up.
I have a 351w i plan on using in it.
I also have a 72 F250 with a 360.
My question is can i use 360 perches on 351w and install in 67.
The 67 has no engine or perches in it now it originally had a 6 cyl.
Thanks for your help.

I think the perches are different for the small block and the FE. The FE and I6 may be the same.

I always thought the FE and the I6 were the same and the small block (302/351) were different. You should be able to use the small block perches from a 69 up. Theymay also go in a different location from the big block. Best to do a search on this site before you obtain any.

I agree FE & I-6 perches are the same. The 302 used a swept back perch, but think the 302 engine just might fit on the other. I never had two of them open at the same time to compare.

the I6 perches will work if you move them back to the second set of holes in the frame.

Thanks for the info guys.
I dont have the I6 perches but I do have the ones for the 351w in an 82 f150.
The 82 had a i6 originally the 351w is probaly a 70s someone else installed it.
Will the perches from the 82 fit the 67?
Thanks again.

Robert, Ford made changes in the chassis in 80, so check further on you perches before you get in a crunch trying to install them.

65-79 is all bolt up exchange, past that you are on your on.
