Orange-Red
I was on my way home from work last night, when I saw a late 70's ford truck. The color was a reddish-orange. The truck was beat up and the paint was faded, so I assumed it to original. So what I'm asking is, was it? Did Ford use a color similar to this on their 70's pickups? Thanks.

I saw a real nice one today that was that color, I'm guessing it's stock but not sure what it's called.

What about Coral? It's in my gallery. It seems the names changed quite a bit over the years.
You either love it or hate it. Hasn't quite grown on my wife yet!

Thanks Guys! I really liked the color (except for the rust and dents
) and thought I may use it when I repaint my truck.
Thanks Million, I've seen that web site before, but can never remember it. I pretty sure that truck I saw was Tangerine.

Did they ever use grabber orange on the truck line in the early 70s or was that just for the mustang.

grabber orange
I believe that was just for the 'stangs. Although, I've pondered that color as well. So many colors, only one truck
I think "Chrome Yellow" is pretty close though.

The Grabber colours were for the Mustang & Torino.
That site I linked answers all questions about paint colour.
