A/C not working
I would also verify that the comrpessor is actually turning.
All of this should be covered under warranty, especially if there is a leak in the system. Although, if the leak was caused by something other than a manufacturing defect, then I do not think that there will be any recourse through the warranty process.

To verify the compressor is turning I just look under the hood and make sure the pully on it is turning? It would be if the belt is on it right?
What would cause the leak other than defect? We did have a very cold winter and I wonder if that did something.
Sorry...i am not as well versed in this as many here. Thanks for your help.
If you are too low the the compressor won't turn. So to check the AC compressor turn on the truck with the AC on.
Look in the center of the pulley. The center portion must be turning too. There is a clutch in there to turn it on and off. Because the belt is always turning the pulley the clutch is important to keep the system from running when you do not want it to.
A rock or something in the evaporator (looks like a radiator and is in the same area.) could have caused all the R-134A to leak out.
Cold winters should not affect it.
