How difficult is it to replace the bushings between the body and the frame? The old rubber ones are cracked and deteriorating pretty badly, and I have heard they make polyurethane bushings that last longer and work better. I have no clue as to how to do this, so any help would be appreciated.
Search this forum and you'll find several posts about how to do it.
The hardest part is getting the old bolts out. They're usually rusted solid and need to be cut off. Also, make sure your new kit has all the hardware and not just the bushings. Poly is longer lasting, but a LOT more rigid so it won't absorb as much vibration as rubber.
