electrical going dead
A few days ago I killed my motor while backing up. When I went to start it again everything was dead. I got out and checked the battery cables and both were tight, the battery is 6 months old. I got back in and everything was normal. But now about every other time i get in and start it up I notice that all of my Stereo settings are gone, and i have to reset all of them. Does anyone have any idea to what may be my problem here? This is on a 95 ford f-150. thanks

I'm not familiar with the F150 electrical systems, but if it's like others you should have power for the keep alive memory to the radio all the time. If you are losing your stored channels, then you are losing power. Check the connections to the power side of your starter relay. This is where most circuits originate. Your connections may be loose which is why you lost power in the first place.
