Unhappy Brake Controller Connection

I just purchased a 2001 Excursion with what I beleive is a Ford tow package. I was looking under the dash, but could not locate a Brake controller plug. My Expedition that I owned had a connection for my brake controller. I know I may need to purchase a new one, but do not see any connector. Any help would be great.

You should find it under the dash. I presume the X has the same interior as my F350 does.

Below the steering column, there is a big plastic panel with a few blade screws on it. They're quarter turn fasteners. Loosen them and pull off that panel. The brake controller plug will be the same exact one from your Expy, only you'll find it on the right hand side of what's beneath that panel. THere's a steel member near it with a cutout for you to feed it through.

I hope this helps.

Cowboy Brett, Thanks for the help. After looking where you said I noticed a connector stuffed off to the right. Looking closer it fit my brake controller.
