Performance For 6.0 Diesel
I Already Have A New Intake
Above stated is correct, do a search on the 6.0 forum and you'll have info to read for days. If you have already changed the intake (getting air in) I'd recommend the next step of getting the spent fuel/air out better. You'll see a great debate on exhaust, relative to cat-back vs. turbo-back, cat removed vs. left in mostly because of backpressure and the VGT turbo design. At the very least get a cat-back and you'll see lower EGT's which will be important if running a tuner/chip and/or heavy towing. Speaking of EGT's, I'd recommend guages to monitor these most importantly and other factors like tranny temp and boost as desired. Lastly, you got some decisions to make on the whole chip (fuel box) vs. tuner aspect. Both have their pluses and minuses. Good luck and enjoy the big ol' hot rod!
