Cruise control conversion

Suprisingly my truck has, or rather had, cruise control. It has it on the turn signal indicator. I never really liked it there and it broke to get back at me. I came across a horn pad that has cruise on it. Has anyone ever converted to cruise on the wheel? Any help would be great.

Alright, I'm throwing this out again. I can't find parts for my turn signal-mounted cruise control so I was wondering how difficult it would be to run the wires to the horn-mounted cruise and it work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks slow v6,

Do you know if a tilt column with cruise on the wheel would bolt up and plug-n-play into my truck with cruise on the turn signal. And this is factory cruise on the signal.

If the cruise is on the turn signal arm then it was an aftermarket kit. I doubt that you will be able to use the ford factory parts.

This one doesn't look like some of the aftermarket ones that I've seen - it looks a lot more like it is supposed to be there. I'll have to see if has a date code on it. If it turns out to be aftermarket, does anyone know a good brand to replace it with?

Thanks.

It is definitely aftermarket. Ford cruise control is on the horn pad on every truck.
