90 hp

can i run the 90 hp setting on the scmt with my kwick filter and strait pipe with-out any issues? all info appreciated

I would get at least a pyrometer so you can see what is going on in that engine.... a boost and trans are optinal... but a good addition

thanks rob gauges are on the way just didnt want to wait till they came in to start playing

Don't tow anything w/o adding the guages; you'll be shocked how fast & how far EGT will rise.

You can "play" around with it, just don't hold your foot into for very long, cuz your EGT's will climb high. If you do get into it pretty good, once won't hurt you real bad, as long as you aren't trying to blow up your engine. And like dabigtow said, don't do any towing, even though it doesn't seem like you are pulling that hard, your egt's will climb quickly.

I have a SCMT, Kwik filter and straight exhaust. Exhaust temps are never an issue for me pulling my 4000lb boat everyday,, even if I hammer on it they never go over 1100-1150*. However all trucks are different,, i would be very carefull until you get gauges..
