Need some help with my idle
I have a 1990 f-150 4x4 w/ 351W. At start-up the rpm's bounce up around 1800 then down to nothing and back up to 1000 then dies. If I keep working w/ the gas it will stay running, but other wise it dies. I've cleaned the Idle Air Control, changed the EGR valve, and put a new MAP Sensor in it. The MAP sensor was the only thing that made a difference. It now idles smooth at startup but smooth at 3000, if i drive it a little bit it drops down to 1500 and idles smooth there. Any suggestions? I have 2 split manifolds would that matter for this?
