Bilstein and AutoSpring

Hello all ...

I just had the folks at AutoSpring install my Bilstein shocks and requested a 1 to 1.5" leveling kit that they make. Explained that I needed to retain a slight rake for towing reasons.

Seems that the front strut perch causes enough lift increase (nearly 1/2"?) that it took what I think he said 3 tries to get my slight front rake that I requested to remain.

I tried to measure the spacer they ended up with and it looks to be under 1.5" and just over 1" by a bit. Whatever it turned out just as I was hoping for and wanted because I also pull a toy hauler (WW FK2100).

Many have posted the ride results so I can only add ditto and why did I wait so long.

Truck has only been washed by many rains the last couple months!

Are they going to be mass producing this slightly smaller spacer? I am intersted for the same reason you were, towing. It dirve me nuts to see the bed of mine 3 inches higher than my dads 2000, and the front the same or lower. By the way the truck looks excellent.

Sounded like they'd make whatever size you wanted! Basically mine has the approximate net equivalent of their common 1.5" spacer. I’d just call them or email them and ask for what you want. He said they’ve made just about everything ˝” up to 2.5” as I recall.

On my “homepage link” option on the pull down of my user name you can see before, after, supplier links and measurement attempts.
