changing lock codes
i am trying to figure out if there is a way to change the codes to unlock the doors when the truck is placed in park. in my dads truck (05 chevy colorado) the doors lock when it is placed in gear and so does my truck but when his is placed in park all doors unlock automatically and i want to do the same to my truck if there is a way. any help would be nice, thanks.

I have gone through my enire owners manual and I did not see nay way to have it unlock when placed in park. I have turned off my auto locks tho cause I like to be able to lock when I want and not be worried about locking my keys in just in case. Besides, my kids are grown and I am not worried about a young one opening the door while moving.
