Well, my truck went **** up yesterday, 97 PSD 7.3L manual transmission. Total loss of power, driveable but no throttle response at all, felt like driving a 4 cylinder Yugo! Took it to the shop. They said I had some major exhaust restriction problems. So I'm replacing the entire system. 3" down pipe and 4" exhaust, open air intake, and what the hell adding a superchip as well. I already upgraded to the Solid mass flywheel (LUK clutch system).
My question is with the new exhaust, air intake and chip is there any thing I need to do to the tranny? anything else?
I hardly ever tow anything, jet skis and thats about it, and pulling my friends out of ditches and such a couple times a year.
