Cheap Mod!!!
Billet look for your Ford Truck/SUV
tools needed
bottle of acetone
Q-Tips
Rag
cpl bottles of beer
Step 1
opening a bottle of beer
Step 2
take the rag and apply acetone
Step 3
rub on Badge till all the black comes off
Step 4
repeat step 2 and 3 till done.
O yes and drink beer!!!
here are a cpl pic of before and after. total time is about 20-30 mins a badge

please note that this can only be done successfully on '99 and newer badges- ie, those that the black has been painted on!
it will not work on '97 and most '98 badges- these had the black baked on. it will not come off......

if you like this look and want it on your 98, all you have to do is take off your current expy badges and replace them with newer (it's much easier to do this acetone thing off the fender!).
and it may give you other ideas- like simply painting the badge to match your body color. or replacing the eb sticker in the badge with reflective orange tape (what i did- everyone knows you have an eddie...)
