Spare Tire Question
Read a few posts on this but have additional questions. I currently run 2857516's, but my spare is the 2557516 (original equipment). I have a 3.55 rear end with no limited slip. Question, if I blow out a rr tire, and replace with the 255 spare , is this a problem? My Expy has 4wd, but have the 2WD selection of the switch. Second question, if I blow out a front tire and replace with the 255, having the selctor switch in 2WD is this a problem?

With open differentials you won't have any problems running it anywhere you want, especially in 2WD. The worst it's going to do is make the differential think you're turning all the time so it'll get a little more wear on the side/spider gears. In 4wd there is a chance that you will get some driveline binding if you're driving on a hard surface, but then if you're on a hard surface you shouldn't be in 4wd anyway. In AWD you might cause a little extra wear to the center diff, but you're not going to harm it unless you're doing a LOT of driving on it.
Bottom line, if you have a blow out, put the spare on and have it changed as soon as possible, but don't fret about it.
