i have a 92 f-150 4x4 . it smokes but only after it warms up to normal operating temp. so i pulled the plugs and 1,4-8 are fine but 2 and 3 are soaked with gas.i put some fuel injection cleaner in and that didnt help it only made it worse. can anyone tell me what the problem may be

 

Any chance the plugwires are reversed. It sounds like they are not sparking. Also check the cap for corosion.

 

Probably the fuel injectors are stuck open in those cylinders. I'd switch them to another cylinder and see if the "soaked with gas" problem moves with the injectors.

 

its got a new cap and rotor so i dont think that is the problem i will check the firing order and make sure that its right and i will also move the injectors around and see what i get thanks for the help guys

 

checked the firing order to find the plugs in 2 and 3 are no good. going to replace and try some more just to make sure thats the problem

 

When done run some Seafoam through the top end to de-gum it and the injectors.
