messing up tranny
While on my way to work this morning cruising about 50 everything was fine. I slowed down to turn into a gas station and had to stop. this is where the trouble started. i hit the gas to turn when the car passed and nothing happened. i downshifted the tranny into first and it took off like normal. after refueling i tried the drive thing again and nothing happened. downshifted into first and it took off again like normal. the fuild was up to the correct level and didn't smell burnt. when driving down the road you can shift into second with the shifter with no jerking or anything. but then you shift into od there is a skip of third gear and it jumps right to fourth. anyone have any ideas. By the way it is a 91 ford f-150 xlt 5.8 4x2 e4od. please help.
