What Smokey said

I assume asking down here you are thinking of the V10 powered truck. If so good for you it is a great motor.

To better answer your question post back with some personal info...

Location, not your address but what state, typical roads, mountains, steep hills, flat
Typical year round use
Typical towing or hauling needs; 5th wheel, tag trailer, Horse trailer, slide in camper???
The King Ranch is a big very quiet and comfortable ride
Do you intend off road use?
Any particular reason you need DWR?

If you can find a current 05 sales brochure a whole lot of tech info in the spec sections.

Will be ordering means that you will be getting a 2006 model

There are now two new paint choices for the KR.

Google Sunrise Ford in California... the Fleet manager Bobby Williams there has the 2006 ordering guide available to look at or down load under the "downloads" section of his site.

I am editing to add that the answer you got at the other site is from a very wise man and I agree with his recomendations.

2005 and 2006 Dark Green Satin Clearcoat Metallic

New 2006 True Blue Clearcoat Metallic

2005 and 2006 Dark Copper Clearcoat Metallic

New 2006 Black Clearcoat

2005 and 2006 Oxford White Clearcoat

The Tires have a dramatic effect on fuel mpg figures. 6 new tires cost more than 4. Rotating 6 is more pain and the extra hauling/towing capacity is not needed in your case. There is slightly more "road" noise with the dually. I decided on the SRW and am very happy with the choice. My 7.3L PSD was dually and I am glad not to have it now. The very long CC LB truck is tough enough to park as it is. But I do agree the dually just plain looks better.

Congratulations , Another diesel convert. Perfect. I don't know of any lemon laws in Canada but I ordered the truck in my sig. for 3130.00 Can difference. My 04 lemon 6.0 was 7 months old with 12000 miles when I made the deal so I think my dealer treated me fairly. The truck I traded in was identical to my 05 except it was a SB. I had hoped to win the lottery before my new truck arrived so I could have taken an 8 pound sledge hammer to that 6.0. It is'nt healthy to not be able to beat the crap out of something that you hate that much.
I only wished I would have known what an incredible joy it is to drive a V10 and I would have traded my 00 F350 PSD on an 05 V10 and spared myself a lot of frustration. Good luck with your new V10 and I hope you are as happy as I am with your new truck. Wrench.
